Teijin Showcases Innovations at Asia Nonwovens Technology Expo (ANTEX Asia)

The Japan Dream Football Association (JDFA), Teijin Polyester Co., Ltd., Thonburi University, and Thonburi United, the main sponsors of the event,

have jointly opened the TEIJIN U-17 New Generation Cup 2024 Thailand football tournament. This exciting event features under-17 players from Thailand, Japan, and Malaysia,

with a total of 8 teams. The tournament aims to give these young players a chance to experience the path to becoming new stars in the ASEAN football scene,

taking place from August 6-9, 2024, at Thonburi Stadium.

Mr. Masao Kiba, the tournament organizer and president of the Japan Dream Football Association (JDFA), revealed that the JDFA has been scouting J-League players from Southeast Asia

and has received support from Teijin Polyester (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the main sponsor of the TEIJIN U-17 New Generation Cup 2024 Thailand. The aim is to support Thai youth in their growth,

development in sports, social skills, and daily life, as well as to provide these young players with the opportunity to exchange experiences, develop football skills,

and learn from their international peers to strengthen the future of Thai youth.

Additionally, Mr. Kazushige Asada from Teijin Polyester Co., Ltd. stated, "As we know, football is one of the most popular sports in the world.

The TEIJIN group has been supporting high school football competitions across Japan since 1991. Therefore, Teijin Polyester (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has decided to support

the TEIJIN U-17 New Generation Cup 2024 in Thailand as a member of the TEIJIN group because we believe that sports competitions help young football players build their mind, body,

The "TEIJIN U-17 New Generation Cup 2024 Thailand" football tournament includes youth football teams under the age of 17 from leading clubs in Thailand (6 teams),

Japan (1 team), and Malaysia (1 team), with a total of 8 teams. The teams are divided into two groups: Group A and Group B, each consisting of the following teams:

Group A: POLICE TERO / PRIME BANGKOK / PORT / Johor Darul Ta'zim

Group B: ASSUMPTION UNITED / CHONBURI FC / TFCA / AZUL CLARO NUMAZU

The tournament will be conducted in a knockout format to select the winning teams from each group to compete in the final round.

There are also awards for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Top Scorer.

The Asian Nonwoven Fabrics Expo (ANEX) is a prominent event that draws industry leaders, innovators, and professionals from around the world to explore the latest advancements in nonwoven fabric technologies.

At this year's ANEX, Teijin highlighted its cutting-edge developments in nonwoven fabrics, including sustainable materials and advanced processing techniques. TPL is pleased to showcase our creative approaches to improving bedroom comfort at Heimtextil 2024, including DDS sound-absorbing materials and elk® mattress solutions. Visitors to Frankfurt, Germany, from January 9–12, 2024, took a look at our showcase, which was housed in Hall 11.0, Stand E59.

During the occasion, TPL revealed how the world of bedroom comfort was revolutionized by our cutting-edge nonwoven textiles technologies, particularly elk® mattress solutions and DDS sound acoustic absorbing materials. Our specialists gave a demonstration of a number of applications designed especially for soundproofing and mattresses, highlighting how TPL's solutions improved sleeping conditions and created a calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Furthermore, we continued to prioritize sustainability in all of our offerings. Our eco-friendly fiber, which are mainly made to elk® and DDS materials, were found by guests. They not only improved comfort but also created a positive impact on the environment going forward. TPL invited guests to adopt sustainable options without sacrificing performance or quality, reinforcing its dedication to environmentally responsible manufacturing.

        Teijin Polyester Co., Ltd. is aware of running business along with sustainable environmental responsibility.  We have been cooperating with TIPEMSE and AMONEY to organize activities continuously for the 2nd year.  This demonstrates our strong commitment to participate in environmental sustainability for Thailand.  By cultivating the new generation of young people to start knowing how to reduce the amount of waste, the activities were held on 4-5 August 2022 at Wat Kla Chaum School in Pathumthani Province.  Examples of activities from Teijin include providing knowledge to separate plastic bottle waste (PET Bottles)  that can be recycled to be raw material of various textile products.  Besides, Teijin & Aira & Aiful Public Co Ltd. have donated the t-shirts that made from recycled PET Bottles to the school children too.

2nd year of Green Activities for Sustainable Society for School in Pathumthani

                TPL  takes part in  green activities with GC Marketing  and its partners (PE and PS recyclers)  to help promote  wastes recycling activities for  kids at Thairath Wittaya 69 School in Pathumthani Province. The purpose  of the event is  to  cultivate  more  awareness for students on environmental preservation for sustainable development.

                The activities were held on Dec.9,2020, representatives from PTTGC, its partners and  converters such as Yakult, Best Polymer Co.,Ltd.,  Precision Plastic Co.Ltd.,  including Teijin Polyester (Thailand) Ltd. participated in learning activities for kids  regarding plastic wastes recycle  especially PET bottles.

Green Activities for Sustainable Society for School in Pathumthani

             From  February 2020, Teijin has launched   advertising  campaign on bus wrap ( air conditioner buses No. 26, 522,511,514,73ก, 168, 505) around Bangkok.  The concept for this year advertisement  is 

 together with " Teijin Code of Conduct "  showing  Messi J  ( Mr. Chanathip Songkrasin)  as our presenter. The advertisement will last until end of July 2020.

From  February 2020, Teijin has launched   advertising  campaign on bus wrap ( air conditioner buses No. 26, 522,511,514,73ก, 168, 505) around Bangkok.  The concept for this year advertisement  is  “ Recycle & Substainable” together with “  Teijin Code of Conduct “  showing  Messi J  ( Mr. Chanathip Songkrasin)  as our presenter.          TPL and A-Money  held  ECO activities for  kids   at Thammasat Pratom School.   The  activities were held for 3  days  for students ranging  from Pratom 1 – Pratom 6    totaling  around 550  students.   The purpose was  to  increase awareness  for students  on  environmental  preservation.
         As part of the activities,  Mr. Yuji Kukada, CEO of AIRA & AIFUL, Ms. Karnchana Klaipud, Director of Thammasat Pratom School  and  Mr. Tetsuya Horii, President of Teijin Polyester (Thailand) joined  together to make an opening speech and delivered    T-shits made from recycled PET to students.   The activities mainly focused on wastes problems,   wastes sorting and  wastes recycling especially  how we could recycle PET  bottles  to other usable products. During the activity period, students  enjoyed  working in team,  brain storming, playing games and quiz times.

The air filter removes contaminants from the air drawn in by the engine, allowing it to maintain proper engine power, torque, and fuel consumption. Without the filter, contaminated air containing pollen and street dust would enter the combustion chamber. Impurities in the engine operate like abrasive paper, causing damage to piston rings, bushes, and cylinders.

Reverse Osmosis membrane is a method used to remove the majority of pollutants from water by forcing the water through a semi-permeable membrane under high pressure. It is the most cost-effective approach for eliminating up to 99 percent of pollutants from feed water. It is a technology of percentage rejection. Therefore, the resulting product water depends on the quality of the incoming water.

Polyester wallpaper It is thicker than ordinary wallpaper and can be put to walls with defects or damage. It can be placed in damp locations, such as the bathroom, because to its resistance to water. Dope Dyed Staple Fiber  (DDS) is a colored polyester fiber which is produced by mixing with colored pigments and has a multiple color variation.

DDS has a good color fastness and is environmentally friendly because it does not need an additional dyeing process that uses a large amount of water.

In addition, it can be used for a variety of applications.

Tire cords are used as reinforcing materials for tires, designed to keep tires in shape and to enhance durability. We produce Polyester tire cords for general tires.

Also, Teijin Frontier has been promoting “Eco-minded Adhesive” for Rubber Reinforcing Fiber that does not use resorcinol-formaldehyde (RF) but still achieves the same level of performance as conventional methods.

Seat belt is a vehicle safety device designed to secure the occupation of a vehicle against harmful movement that may result during a collision or a sudden stop. Seat belt functions to reduce the likelihood of death or serious injury in a traffic collision by reducing the force of secondary impacts with interior strike hazards, by keeping occupants positioned correctly for maximum effectiveness of the airbag and by preventing occupants being ejected from the vehicle in as crash or if the vehicle rolls over. TEIJIN Tetoron has long history to be applied to seat belt by its reliable properties

All nets must be strong enough to withstand the impact of schools of fish and water pressure, falling tools and people, balls, etc. as well as be able to absorb the impact so as not to hurt or damage whatever they catch. They must also be highly resistant to weather and abrasion since they are mainly used outdoors. By using special polyester that has a higher stretch property than regular polyester, nets highly superior in impact absorption have been manufactured.


Fishing Net

Ropes are used in a variety of ways as hawser for mooring ships, safety lines at construction sites, and in fishing nets such as purse seines, set nets, and trawl nets. They are also used in diverse areas such as electricity, communications, machines, and sports and are available from 3 mm to 150 mm in diameter. Although the raw material used in their making differs according to the required functions, Teijin Tetoron polyester stands out for its many advantageous properties.

The fire hose is indispensable to enter and move around in a burning structure and to instantly put out fires. To speedily and effectively extinguish fires, various requirements such as ease of use and durability must be met. A special machine to make fire hoses is used to coat the interior and exterior of the tubular woven material with resin.

Belts for general industrial materials such as the lashing belt and others, which are utilized in pallet transportation among others, are widely used in diverse ways especially in the distribution industry.
