2nd year of Green Activities for Sustainable Society for School in Pathumthani

 
Teijin Polyester Co., Ltd. is aware of running business along with sustainable environmental responsibility.  We have been cooperating with TIPEMSE and AMONEY to organize activities continuously for the 2nd year.  This demonstrates our strong commitment to participate in environmental sustainability for Thailand.  By cultivating the new generation of young people to start knowing how to reduce the amount of waste, the activities were held on 4-5 August 2022 at Wat Kla Chaum School in Pathumthani Province.  Examples of activities from Teijin include providing knowledge to separate plastic bottle waste (PET Bottles)  that can be recycled to be raw material of various textile products.  Besides, Teijin & Aira & Aiful Public Co Ltd. have donated the t-shirts that made from recycled PET Bottles to the school children too.

TPL  takes part in  green activities with GC Marketing  and its partners (PE and PS recyclers)  to help promote  wastes recycling activities for  kids at Thairath Wittaya 69 School in Pathumthani Province. The purpose  of the event is  to  cultivate  more  awareness for students on environmental preservation for sustainable development. The activities were held on Dec.9,2020, representatives from PTTGC, its partners and  converters such as Yakult, Best Polymer Co.,Ltd.,  Precision Plastic Co.Ltd.,  including Teijin Polyester (Thailand) Ltd. participated in learning activities for kids  regarding plastic wastes recycle  especially PET bottles.
 
 

Tesco Lotus joins hands with SCG to sell recycled shopping bags for charity donation

 
Ms.  Salilla Sihaphan, Managing Director of  Tesco Lotus (left), together with Mr. Jirasak Kaewubol, Director - Sourcing and Supply Management of  SCG  Packaging (right),   have launched  a   campaign  “Recycled shopping  bags made from PET bottles”   which  collected  from  Reverse Vending Machines  at  Tesco Lotus branches.  This campaign is  to promote   Closed-Loop Packaging System policy of  Tesco Lotus  and Circular Economy Policy of SCG. These shopping bags are sold at Bht.99.- at 20 branches of Tesco Lotus nationwide  from December 1st ,2019 onwards.  All  revenues  will be given to the Tesco for Thailand Foundation  to be used in charity activities  for environment preservation.  ** These  recycled shopping  bags are made by Teijin Polyester (Thailand) Ltd.
